Phongsali is a province of Laos, located in the north of the country. The capital of the province is the city of Pho^ngsali. Pho^ngsali is located between Yunnan (China), and ?ie.n Bien in Vietnam , a new province which was created by a split of Lai Chau Province in early 2004. Its culture has thus been historically heavily influenced by China.
