The tourism industry continues to witness a rise in tourist arrivals and a surge in bookings as a result of recent advertising campaigns in Australia.
In a statement, Air Pacific says a campaign was implemented as an initiative to lure more Australians to Fiji and reinforce that the destination remains safe, friendly and great value for their money.
Air Pacific Managing Director and CEO John Campbell says the campaign generated more than 6,300 visitors and more than 16,000 nights with 80 per cent of the bookings falling in January to September.
Air Pacific operates 22 direct weekly services from the Australian cities of Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to Nadi as well as convenient domestic connects from various Australian cities flying Qantas.
