The first Travel Turkey Izmir Fair will take place in Aegean city of Izmir from December 13th to 16th, 2007, it was reported.

The fair will take place at the International Izmir Fair Site.

The fair is co-organized by Union of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB), Izmir Fair Services Culture & Art Affairs Trade Inc. (IZFAS) and Hannover Messe International Istanbul.

The theme of the new fair is "Culture Tourism."

While Greece was designated as a partner country, other participants in the fair will be Syria, Jordan, Iran, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Taiwan and Azerbaijan.

The fair will be attended by operators of business and congress tourism; thermal spas, sportive and religious tours; hotels and holiday villages; travel agencies, tour operators, transportation companies, restaurants, municipalities, associations and tourist magazines.
